Description: I have for sale a French wine medal. It looks to be copper or copper coated in color, it is 2 7/8 inches in diameter and in a high grade circulated condition with a large spot in the obverse field. On the rim it has the year 1981 and the Paris mint mintmark. The medalist was A. Bloc. This is a heavy medal. The obverse at the top reads LE BEAUJOLAIS and has the Beaujolais coat of arms. There is a grape scene with a church on top of a hill in the background. The reverse in the center shows the outline of the Beaujolais wine producing region. Around the center it has the names of several wines. Please see over 950 more collectibles for sale in my EBAY STORE at TE Collectables. (19,139 TRD)
