Lator Vintage Swiss 20 ATM Manual Wind Diver Chronograph Watch

Description: I am selling my Lator diver's 20 ATM chronograph. As you can see from the photos it's in wonderful condition and fully working. This watch dates back to the late 1960s and houses the Landeron 248 manually wound movement. It winds smoothly from it's original big crown and has an excellent power reseve, as with any vintage manually wound watch i tend to give a maximum of 10 winds per winding session to make sure I don't overwind the watch. The watch keeps fantastic time, over my last on the wrist 48 hour test it was pretty much spot on. The chronograph opperates by pressing the top pusher to start and the bottom pusher to both stop and reset both chronograph hands which both reset back to their zero/vertical positions. I have run the chronograph through it's full 30 min cycle and it works as it should. The case is in great condition for it's age and the screw-down caseback screws in and out smoothly. As you can see from the photographs the movement is in lovely condition. The bezel is bi-rotational and rotates smoothly in both directions. The plastic domed crystal is in great condition with just a few scratches. The dial and the hands both look sensational. The lume still has power. Whilst the watch states it is water resistant to 20ATM I doubt these were really used for diving even when they were released and with any vintage watch you should always assume it has minimal water residence without getting your own pressure test. The watch comes on a vintage leather strap. All in all this is a fantastic example in fully working order.
