Only mined in the Dominican Republic this rare, beautiful material resembles the Caribbean Sea where it is found. Not the easiest lapidary material. I suggest avoiding 80 grit, and put little pressure on it while polishing. Material will arrive dry and chalky. Please wet it to get an idea of what it will look like polished.
