Description: Late 1930s/Early 1940s OshkoshLarge Hardshell Suitcase Late 1930s/Early 1940s Oshkosh Luggage Suitcase. Most of the hardware is in good condition- two exterior hinges, two interior hinges, 4 brass feet, and two latches (no key for lock). Also, the original riveted brass handle mounts are still on the case. Each end of the case is pretty thrashed with the left worse than the right (see pictures). It appears that the leather binding on the ends was removed compromising the lacquered-canvas' adherence to the wood core. Economy shipped due to volume of 24"h x 17"w x 7.5"d. It does close and stay closed but is missing the carrying handle (it was rope prior to our receiving it with some vintage cables).
