Description: Family photos from Harrington, Maine, many identified. Frye, Perry, Ramsdell, Lovett family and others. 4 daguerrotypes in half cases, 2 tintypes in half cases, 1 ambro in brass mount (poor condition), 1 tintype in full case. 1 album contains 25 tintypes, 2 CDVs, 1 photo on heavy card marked Cherryfield photographer, 1 early snapshot and 1 reproduction of an early photo of a little girl. Album #2 contains 36 tintypes, 11 CDVs, and one snapshot. Album #3 contains 18 tintypes and 10 CDVs. Many sitters are identified. 1st album is that of Mrs. Irene (Coffin) Frye. Irene married Captain Edwin Frye and they had four children. Sons Roland, Jed and Milton, and daughter Olive. 2nd album seems to be mostly Perry and Ramsdell families. Martha E. Perry, born 1838, married Reuben and they had four children: Hattie, Viola, Martina and Reuben Jr. Sorry, I didn't have time to look into the Ramsdell family, but many photos of them identified, so research should be simple. I believe these albums all came from the same estate because there was intermarriage between the families. Most of the photos are in good shape. One dag has a brass frame that one corner has gone green. If this is an auction listing there is no "Buy it Now" price--please don't ask. We don't end auctions early.
