Sitting Bull surrendered here in 1881. This aqua cork top bottle once contained Sarsaparilla Compound Extract sold by J.C.Ayer Company of Lowell, Massachusetts. The sides are embossed, "AYER’S / COMPOUND EXT / LOWELL MASS. U.S.A. / SARSAPARILLA.” There are plenty of bubbles and swirls in the glass along with some remaining dirt.
