Description: Here is a beautiful large Sicilian Italian Caltagirone art pottery man's head vase. It is signed near the bottom on the back, sorry but I could only make out Caltagirone I could not figure out the artists name, see photo 7. It also has a gold foil label on the bottom, see photo 8. The vase measures about 9 inches tall, about 6 1/2 inch across the center width, about 6 1/2 inch front to back and the top opening is about 4 inches across. According to my scale it weighs about 4.4 pounds. This lovely piece has some light crazing, but otherwise is in good condition, the spot on the top right side in his head scarf [over his eye] is a glaze mistake not a chip.
