It is approximately 5 1/2" Inches In Length at the longest spot on the glass section. Normal wear from previous use, age & storage. The wires have been cut so this will need to be rewired. I do not know if the socket is good. Please consult a licensed electrician about wiring for safety and code. Item is sold as is, as pictured and as described.
