He was voted in as one of the top artist by Beckett in 2010. Importantly, Robert was also the Official Artist to the Texas Sports Hall of Fame for 25 years (1997-2021), Official Artist to the National College Baseball HOF (2006-2021), Official Artist to Texas Heritage Songwriter's Association (2011-2021) and Rodeo Austin (2000-2010) In addition to being A Damn Fine Artist Robert was also a collector. He obtained many of the autographs in his collection personally. Autographs he did not personally obtained were collected via reputable people in the sports collecting world. Unfortunately Robert Hurst passed away at age 62 in 2021. Hence we will be liquidating his memorabilia collection. Please check back as new items will be listed on the regular.
