Description: This plate or platter is a piece of heavy china or restaurant ware featuring an antique photo by L A Huffman. Laton Alton Huffman (October 31, 1854 – February 28,1931) was an American photographer of Frontier & Native American life. This plate was made by Westernware and still retains its original label on the bottom. It measures 9 inches long by 6.5 inches wide. It weighs just under a pound. The reproduction photo embossed on the plate is from 1880 and is entitled “American Bison Running”. The plate is in generally good condition with no chips or cracks, but it has some crazing.
