These are genuine Fairchild/Onsemi transistors, and are invaluable for vintage electronics restoration. They are great subs/replacements for a number of vintage transistors that can get noisy over the years. These will replace the following transistors, among others: 2SC497 2SC7342SC945 2SC1211 2SC1213 2SC1364 2SC1735 2SD400 Many vintage Pioneer, Sansui, Marantz, and other brand receivers and amplifiers will develop transistor issues over the years, and these brand new Fairchild KSC2383s are a great way to fix that.
