Description: Beautiful vintage mountain bike with lots of fun awaiting you. Experience the fun of riding an early days mountain bike. The bike is fast and responsive, and will let you negotiate narrow and steep tracks in hills and woods. The first edition Ridgerunner was buildt in 1987 and was a no-suspension MTB. It was followed by 3 or 4 editions before the 1996/1997 model. The 1993 model is a full-suspension bike and in 1996 the brand returns to no-suspension. From 1998 and going forward all Ridgerunners are hard-tails (with front-suspension). I use another wintage 26" no-suspension bike to drive tracks where a 700c gravel-bike comes short. The Ridgerunner is for tracks that includes both mountain biking and gravel. I also use it for bike-packing. I bought it because it really is a beauty. The guy who did most of the refurbishing had it set-up as a city-bike. I have changed it back to a race bike. Ridgerunner lists a 1991 World Championship, and I consider it a race-bike. It will still make a stylish vintage city-bike as well as an effective bike for MTB and gravel riding. I am selling the bike because it is a bit to short for me. It would be left idle in the basement while I would run other bikes. Buy it. Bring it to live. Have fun.
