Description: This is the camera that I remember my father using for family pictures. The Duaflex III models were produced between 1954 and 1957 by Eastman Kodak Company, Rochester, NY. It has a Kodet 75 mm lens and a flash attachment. It uses Kodak 620 film for 2 ¼ by 2 ¼ photos. The inside of the cameral has instructions for loading the film. These cameras were made of durable Bakelite. This box camera has an oversized reflex type viewfinder and is in the original box. The 32-page instruction manual covers an introduction to the parts of your camera and the fact that the mechanism prevents double exposures, a common mistake. There are detailed instructions for loading and unloading the film and using the flash attachment. Then there is a long section on making the perfect picture with many example photos. There is even a section suggesting what you should do with your photos – enclose a photo in a letter to a friend far away or frame the best photos to be hung in a place of honor. This camera took the pictures used for Christmas cards for many years. The camera and flash attachments are in very good condition. It has not been tested but the film winder turns easily. Batteries and flashbulbs are not included. Shipping is free in the continental US.
