Description: Junior Aid Cook Book 1944 Yakima WA VTG Cookbook by Dorthy Donelson in support of the Yakama Day Nursery , Yakama’s first Childcare Center that opened in 1934. This cookbook has 397 pages of vintage of copied handwritten recipes full of whimsical drawings each with the signature of the contributing cook. It also has Nursery Illustration pages the tell the story of this organizations first decade. The books sections are separated by fantastic red print 1940’s drawings. The book has stains and yellowing on page edges. The front cover and a couple pages have a separations of pages from on top part of spiral binding. There are turned corners and a torn last page. The back cover is missing bottom half. The book has all its pages and it’s got a great plastic spiral binding.
