Description: Juan Martin Hidalgo, Madrid, Original Acrylic Painting on Masonite - 1999 SIGNED This is an AMAZING VINTAGE acrylic oil painting by Juan Martin Hidalgo from 1999. It is one of his later works. Most of his paintings are landscapes or city scenes from around Madrid, Spain. He rarely painted any other subjects, so this painting is fairly rare. The painting is acrylic on Masonite board, and features a barnyard with a rooster standing proudly over his chicks. It is beautifully painted in a an impressionist style. Every time I look at it I see something new (I just noticed the pitchfork in the background). This painting is in VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION! It was previously framed, so there is slight wear at a couple of the corners, but it doesn't affect the painting itself. There is no chipping, scratching or discoloration to the paint.
