Having both trained in product design, they were embarking on their early years when their father asked them to look at reinventing one of the company's products - a traditional glass chopping board. They both jumped at the chance and were soon developing a small range of creative designs which were proving much more popular than the originals. But what appealed to them most about the product was its functional, hygienic nature and this ignited in them a passion to design other functional kitchenware products.
