From the collection of Gavin Bridson, a bibliographer who spent most of his career at the Hunt Botanical Library in Pittsburgh. Hand bound by him in gold cloth backed boards, very good. Signed by Bridson on the flyleaf, and with two of the articles inscribed to him by Heller. The volume contains "The Early History of Binomial Nomenclature" which appeared in vol. 1 of the Hunt Botanical Library yearbook, "Huntia" in 1964; 70 pp, one plate. "Linnaeus's Hortus Cliffortianus" appeared in Taxon 17, 1968, pp. 663-719. Inscribed, "Mr. Bridson with the author's compliments." "Linnaeus's Bibliotheca Botanica" appeared in Taxon, June 1970, pp. 363-411 and is inscribed and signed. Heller (1906-88) was a professor of classics at the University of Illinois who had an interest in Linnaeus and early botany. Very good.
