I used the word perfection in the title line because that is the first adjective that pops in my head when I look at this beautiful weight. Just click to enlarge the pics - PERFECTION. The beautiful blue ground sets off the canes and ribbons SO beautifully. Something very wintery looking about this to me. I'm thinking if you're looking at it for a Christmas present - talk about perfect! Clearly to be enjoyed all year but if not going in to a collection this would sit out alone among Christmas things and look like it's been pulled out with the Christmas decorations. Just beautiful for whatever reason you are looking at it! I think all collections need at least a couple John Deacons. Pretty Pink on the bottom is so nice w/ the lovely pink and green millefiore Handmade in Scotland by John Deacons sticker on bottom - STK Cane Just shy of 2" tall and 2.5" in diameter This is one of the 450 paperweights from my sweet mom's collection that I've inherited. She did most of her collecting during the 70's and 80's. I've got it all - names you know and unsigned beauties too. I'm just getting started on the big roll out on eBay. I ship quick. USPS insured.
