Description: 1922 Neilson's Chocolate V61 Joe Sewell PSA VG 3 - Pop Three, 7 Higher. Joe Sewell made his MLB debut with the 1920 World Champion Cleveland Indians. It wasn't long after Ray Chapman's fatal beaning. Sewell would play for fourteen seasons (1920-30 Cleveland, 1931-33 New York) recording 2,226 hits including over 550 of which were for extra bases. He struck out only 114 times during the entire length of his career! Many players today will rack up that many Ks in one season! The offered card is his 1922 V61 Neilson's Chocolate rookie card, a scarce entry where PSA has only graded 10 total. Graded PSA VG 3.
