Description: Listing consists of a JL Audio W3 Subwoofer, JBL BPx500.1 amplifier and a box (see photos). It's a 12W3v3-4 JL Audio Subwoofer. The JBL amp is mounted on the back of the box. It used to power 2 of these JL Audio W3's. I updated the listing to reflect the condition of this setup after further investigation. The price has been dropped, new pictures added and the condition changed. The new pictures show how far rust has gotten on the parts out of view normally (only a few parts have rust, see photos). This listing is used and has some damage on all items (sub, box, amp). Damage can be seen in pictures but I included a partial description of the damage below. JBL AmplifierThe amp is missing some screws on its cover and has some markings from what looks like wear. The connection components appear intact and in good condition while the mounting screws and cover screws appear to have minor rust. The parallel/2ch & 12db/24db switches have rust on them. JL Audio SubwooferThe Sub has a small hole in it at the bottom and minor scuffing but otherwise looks intact. The mounting screws appear to have some rust. The metal housing at the bottom of the sub has some rust. Subwoofer BoxThe box has some scuffing / wear. Connection ports appear in good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE(s)I have not tested it in quite some time but I assume it is still in working order as it was working normally when I uninstalled it years ago. It's been sitting in my garage. That being said, I don't know how this got rusty. I can only assume my car trunk got wet through some holes and that water with road salt got vaporized by the bass. I thought most the amp looked quite clean inside but I would recommend a thorough cleaning to ensure corrosion doesn't continue...even though it hasn't been near salt in years. Due to the facts listed in this description, the sale price has been set low but I am open to offers. Because of this all sales are final and no returns are accepted. Due to the weight of these combined items I have listed them as local pick up only. I will consider selling these combined items separate if you want only the amp or sub.
