Description: Up for bid is a fluorescent specimen from the Aroona Zinc Mine in Australia. This has Willemite that fluoresces various shades of Green and Blue-Grey and is very phosphorescent. There is also Red fluorescing Calcite. This specimen has a very different look than the nearby Puttapa Zinc mine. This specimen has been ground on the front face to expose the fluorescent material. The back face is natural. First picture is front under SW UV, second picture is front under White Light, third picture is back under SW UV, and fourth picture is back under white light.
