Description: Jess Horn Lockback Pocket Knife #027 with Clip Point Blade and Great Wood Scales This is a genuine custom made lockback knife made by Jess Horn. I purchased this knife many years ago and it's been in my collection since. It has been well cared for with routine cleaning and periodic application of high quality knife oil. The scales are beautiful wood that is a nice brown color. This lockback folder features a hand rubbed satin finished clip point blade with an opening nail nick. It has satin finished nickel silver bolsters, hand peened nickel silver pins and nickel silver liners. The lockbar and backspacer are satin finish stainless steel. The handle has a lanyard hole. This knife is numbered 027. There is no blade play and the lockup and blade seating are excellent. It comes with the original Jess Horn leather zippered case. The blade is 3 ½" in length and the closed length is 4 ¼". Please study the pictures for best description of product and condition. The knife display stands are not included. You would be purchasing only the knife and the zippered case. Jess Horn is one of my favorite custom knife makers. Considered a knife making legend, Jess Horn is primarily known for very high quality, top notch material custom folding knives. Jess's linerlock and slip joint folders are typically made with ATS-34 and 154CM stainless steel, and he uses a variety of natural handle materials. He was a longstanding voting member of the Knife Makers Guild. Jess passed away in 2016.
