This tassel was once attached to a katana carried during the War by a Japanese Army General. Often tassels end up no longer attached to a sword when an expensive blade goes off for polishing, papering, and shirasaya. The slide is gold wire. Condition:This original World War II Japanese Army General's sword tassel is in exceptional condition.
