Description: Measuring about 7-1/2" x 10-1/4", and 594 pages long, this hardback book is Volume 6 (Augustus Baldwin Longstreet to Thomas William Parsons) of the iconic "Bibliography of American Literature", compiled by Jacob Blanck for the Bibliographical Society of America. Published in New Haven, Connecticut, by the Yale University Press, it has matching copyright and publication dates of 1973, and, with no later edition or printing stated, it is presumed to be the First Edition. It is in generally very good and readable condition, but with some surface scuffs and edge wear on the cover, and some pages that are bumped or creased at the corners. It is also an ex-library copy, with stickers on the spine and back cover and front end paper, and stampings and other library markings on the front end paper and title page (and possibly other pages as well, but I didn't notice any on a quick thumb-through). The large sticker that spans the spine and back cover is coated in, and surrounded by, glue residue, as if it was at one time also taped down, and the glue residue is still a bit sticky to the touch.
