Description: IV823 Vintage Stanley Liberty Bell No. 122 Transitional Smooth Plane 8" Long. These were made from 1876 to 1918. I can't see a mark on the toe of this plane. It measures 8" long and the cutter is 1 3/4" wide, which makes it a No. 122. The plane is solid with no cracks in metal. The adjustment works well. Knob is good with some scratches. Base has some scratches and staining. There is finish missing from metal and wood. Cutter will need to be sharpened for use. Normal dents, dings and wear. Please see pictures.
