Description: ITO JAPAN TOY WOOD TOY BOAT 19” BATTERY OPERATED BOAT - This is a nice, vintage battery operated wooden toy cabin cruiser boat made by ITO in Japan- This boat is in good original condition with some light age related wear- All original deck hardware appears to be present and intact- Original deck cleats, horns, lights, rails, and flag are all present and intact- Metal deck hardware shows some age related tarnish/ patina- The original paint and finish is in good condition with some light age related wear- Wooden hull shows no damage or breakage. There are a few cracks/ repairs to the wooden cabin piece near the windshield- The rear engine compartment cover is removable to reveal inboard motor and battery compartment- The boat runs on 2 D batteries (Not - Included)- The original motor is present and intact, but I have not gotten it to run - Not sure if it's the motor, batteries, or wiring- Rudder can be adjusted to guide the boat in circles- Boat measures about 19" long This vintage wooden battery operated toy boat will make a nice addition to any vintage toy collection. It displays beautifully and is complete with all original parts. The wooden top cabin piece has a few cracks/ repairs, which does not detract much from the overall appearance of the boat. I have not gotten the boat to run yet, though I have not tried to clean the contacts or wiring. Feel free to ask me any questions about this great ITO toy boat.
