Description: This is a great vintage very heavy duty canvas rucksack, pack. It is Italian military issue, vintage probably 40’s-50’s. It has wide heavy duty canvas straps and heavy duty hardware. It closes with a chain system where the attached chain goes across the front through heavy metal ‘eyelets’ and hooks closed. Inside the large bag are two canvas flaps with buckle and strap closure to hold down lower contents. If not being carried as a pack, it has a heavy duty canvas handle at the top. One photo shows the handle with duct tape on it. There is no damage underneath, it was just written on. The tape has been removed for the other photos. The bag measures approximately 24” long x 15” deep x 12” tall. It is in great original preowned condition . Someone has stenciled their name and address on one side and the bottom.
