Painted polychrome Isleta Pueblo pottery is of a style that developed after the arrival of a group of Laguna Pueblo families. They left their native Laguna Pueblo in 1879 and moved to Isleta Pueblo, settling in a village they named Oraibi. This signed pot comes from a non-smoking household and appears to be in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other signs of wear. It stands approximately 6” high and is about 6” at its widest point. We’ve provided ample photo coverage of it, so please study the posted images closely as they are an important part of the auction description.
