The book is original, but the dust jacket is a facsimile (reproduction). -Condition and Description: Publisher's original cream and black cloth, lettered in white, stamped decorations in black, octavo, 439 pp. A handful of fox spots to the upper portion of the front board. Spine lettering rubbed. Slight splitting where the cream and black cloth meet on the spine, as common. Hinges and binding tight. Pieces of the original dust jacket glued to the front and rear endpaper. The glue from the front endpaper passed through to the half title hinge along the gutter, preventing it from opening to the gutter (but reinforcing it) - refer to last picture. Text free and clear of writing and underlining. Accompanied by a facsimile dust jacket for better shelf presentation.
