Couple that coloring with the mature height of 5 plus feet and you are considering a “must have” for any tropical looking garden. But he doesn’t stop at “tropical” as he can be used in the back of any garden bed, or as a center piece for containers. Need a bog or pond planting, he steps right up to fill this need too. He is big guy – 5 to 6 feet tall and just as wide when mature. Hardy in zones 7 and above; but in cooler zones, just bring inside into the basement until next spring.
