(pic #2 & #3)· For some models, it may need a minor modification. (to install a Resistor, pls read below & check pic #4 and the last 2 pictures)· The original ignition has already pre-installed a Resistor inside. However, this aftermarket ignition doesn't have one, so you will have to solder an appropriate resistor (included) on the grey wire.*** It's similar to the OEM # 27005-1169/1179. ** PLEASE NOTE, in order to get this item to work properly, you need to install the resistor (resistor included) in line with the Grey wire (typically Ninja models) that going to the CDI (see pic #4 & the last two). Otherwise, it may not start the engine (have no spark).
