Description: For sale is a 3d printed IBM Selectric ball element holder, I designed this to mount the element much like the typewriter itself, just open the ball latch, post it into the case and latch it again. Even had some fun "crash testing" with a junk element with a broken tooth out of curiosity just to see how well it would protect it, and it worked well, with even the holder itself breaking after chucking it on the ground, with no extra damage to the element. (Still don't try this at home obviously) So if you have a rare or favorite font, this would be a good solution to keep it safe when not in use!
