Description: This paperweight was owned by my father-in-law's aunt, and we believe it was purchased in the 1970s. It has been in storage in his smoke-free home for the past 20+ years. It is gorgeous and deserves the chance to be better appreciated! This paperweight features a white lily of the valley spray with two green leaves on a cobalt blue background. It is about 2 1/4" in diameter and 1 3/4" high (at the peak). The base is flat with a concave center. It is signed as mentioned in the condition description with Whittemore's signature cane -- a black W on a yellow background on the underside of one of the leaves. I gave it a gentle cleanse with a microfiber cloth, and I didn't notice any flaws. No chips. No cracks. Perhaps just the very slightest of surface scratches on the bottom. Please note that any bright white in any of the photos are just reflections from my overhead lights or windows. I took photos in lots of different types of light and lots of angles to highlight the beauty of this paperweight. Please see the photos for up-close details as part of this description, and please note the stand is not included. It will be packed with extreme care. Upon checkout, you may choose among USPS Priority, USPS Ground Advantage, or UPS Ground. Choose whichever works best for you. Thanks for looking! Please message me with any questions before bidding. Also, please note that I will be selling more of these Whittemore paperweights this year, so please check back with bestfinds1976 frequently!
