Item comes **AS PICTURED** and does NOT include: Original Box Software CDs or Driver Discs Paperwork Any Type of Follow-Up Support Connect any HP Printer with an EIO Slot to Your Home or Office Network Ideal for network managers who manage HP EIO printers in network environments. HP Internal Print Servers deliver high performance network sharing of printers and multifunction devices over a range of network types, with advanced security features and easy management via HP Web Jetadmin. These older JetDirect cards have a web interface which will not run on newer versions of Java, which makes ENTERPRISE management slightly less convenient. However, the EIO Card is still fully functionable and maintains manageability through a number of other avenues, such as WebJet Admin, telnet, direct access via the printer's control panel, etc. The testing setup ( pictured ) consisisted of an HP 2300 LaserJet Printer and an old HP Laptop running Windows XP ( which may be the last Windows operating system capable of accessing the built-in web interface properly ). Both pieces of equipment were connected to a DHCP-capable ethernet Router.
