The Market flourished until the mid-1960's. Its business was conducted on the ground floor and the S. Kantor Sewing company, owned and managed by Lebanon's Feldman family, operated on the upper floors from the 1930s until 2003. Other tenants included Crestview Secretarial School, Derby Cafe' and the Lebanon Family Theatre, which held vaudeville shows there in the early 1900s. After the Market closed, businesses such as Parry Printing and Lebanon Stamp and Coin Shop occupied the ground floor. In 2003, Lebanon Landmarks, Inc., owned by Bill Kolovani, purchased the Market House as part of a downtown revitalization plan. The Market was historically preserved and restored to its original purpose, opening in the fall of 2006. Today over 30 vendors sell the bounty of area farms, gardens and kitchens. Lebanon Fine Art and Picture Frame and the Market House Bakery and Cafe' also have their businesses on the premises. On the third floor diners may enjoy the fare of Niko's Restaurant named for Bill's father, Nick Kolovani.
