Description: Intact Beautiful Hohokam Stone Axe PLUS 2 Broken Axe Sections. 3 Total Pieces. I cannot prove origin or provenance. My family is said to have found these 3 pieces in 1950s Arizona near present day Cave Creek. They have been in our family since that find. The whole intact axe is an excellent artifact with a perfect rounded poll and deep grooving. The tip is chipped though not severely. It measures 7-3/4" in length. The 2 broken pieces are not from the same axe. The tip (bit) end is nice and has no chipping. The head (poll) end is broadly rounded and has very interesting linear finger grooves along the back edge opposite the large groove. See the pics. Very nice display artifacts. You'll be well pleased. Shipping will be flat rate UPS at $18.00 anywhere in the USA.
