There is an excellent PORTRAIT of KING DAN O’BRIEN… Much of the article deals with the competition between O’BRIEN and JEFF DAVIS for rights to the title of KING OF THE HOBOS. This is a great look at the life of the hobos and their history. The competition extended to the organizations: INTERNATIONAL ITINERANT MIGRATORY WORKERS’ UNION and the HOBO FELLOWSHIP OF AMERICA. There are a couple of HOBO ILLUSTRATIONS to accompany this, and a LIST OF HOBO VERNACULAR AND TRANSLATIONS OF THEIR VOCABULARY! This is a wonderful time capsule. It is in fine condition with some vintage corner and edge wear. It's not mint, but fairly gently read and a tough find! A great piece FOR THE COLLECTOR! Take it home with you!
