Description: This is a very powerful "1833" size motor intended as a drop in replacement for the Mashima 1833 which is now out of production. This motor is also a direct replacement for the Walthers new production Proto 2000 motor. This motor is more powerful and somewhat quieter than the Mashima equivalent and the Walthers Proto 2000 motor. The drive shaft is 2mm in diameter. This motor will fit gearboxes and motor mounts designed for Mashima 1833 motors as the mounting holes have the same pitch. This motor has a 5 pole skew wound armature for smooth running. I test run each motor before shipping. Look at the photos and you can see that the motor is the same size and power as the Walther and Mashima ones. It is also the same as the Scale Trains motors.
