Description: Title: HO Scale Life-Like SW9/1200 Diesel Engine DCC Proto 2000 Burlington Northern 248 Details: This is previously used, originally a standard DC engine and a decoder was installed (lights, controls, no sound). There are 2 weights added above the front wheel motor and the decoder is electrical taped to the top of the weights. When the lights are activated, the front lights turn on when moving forward and the cab lights turn on when reversing. The lights dim as power is lowered. No sound. We ran this on channel #3 on a Bachmann EZ Command Control and it ran nicely. This has momentum as well, so if you need to abruptly stop just hit the brakes or stop button. The front step arrived broken off and we reglued it in place. It needs a general cleaning and servicing/lubrication. It is a good runner. The lights work nicely. We did not test this in DC or analog mode. The couplers are pockets are in a small bag and will need to be installed. The handrails front and back, some are broken and the rest are in a small bag. We recommend getting a detail kit to just replace the rails. This train is as is in the photos. No original box or packaging. Very nice train overall.
