All of these Lake State Locomotives are new in the box. 6 of the 8 have not even been opened! I plan to keep the two I did open, so yours will be brand new from the factory. I originally planned to collect the entire fleet for a massive layout, then realized it was an unrealistic goal, but that was after I placed my order with my local hobby shop. I don't have too much to add, these are brand new 2024 releases. DCC Ready models are ready to take a 21pin decoder of your choice. Most of the specs are available online, but they do have front/rear headlights, and front ditch lights. a 28mm round speaker will fit in the cutout on the frame. The Soundtraxx 810153 works really well. I have installed ESU in both of my units, and it is a good combo.
