Description: It is said that it took three years to print this massive volume of "the first part" of a world history. While this was first published in 1614 as the title page states, the Colophon dates this at 1617. There are two editions of 1617 by different printers. This one is very close to the first edition with only a few letter heads being different and is printed by the same printer as the first edition-- "Stansby". The other version dated 1617 has "Jaggard" as the printed shown on the colophon and has different pagination and devices.This is a fascinating work.
