Description: Maker: This delightful trinket box is by Hungary's flagship china maker Herend. Located in the ancient city of the same name, the factory has been producing exquisite and highly coveted luxury china since 1826. Design: It's the gorgeous Herend pattern called Chinese Bouquet Rust, featuring lovely gold accented rust leaves on fine white porcelain. A subtle basketweave band surrounds the base. Marks: The blue Herend mark is on the bottom along with a handwritten number that appears to be 1624/404 but is subject to interpretation. The number 14 is handwritten in red. Size: The trinket box is 3 inches wide, 1 7/8 inches tall without the lid and weighs 5.8 ounces. Condition: It's in overall excellent condition with no marks, nicks, cracks, scratches, stains, discoloration, crazing, wear or repairs. There is a tiny chip on one petal of the rose finial - it's shown in the photo with the red arrow. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
