The pattern is very elegant with a gold rim embossed with lines and ovals. Below that is a burgundy stripe, then a gold pinstripe above a cream band. The center of the plate is a bright white. Backstamp appears to be from the 1930's. Condition is very good, with no cracks, no chips, no stains, and only light signs of use. No easily visible utensil marks--I don't see any at all which is astonishing for a plate this old, so if there are any utensil scrapes or marks, they are quite subtle. Some spots of tarnish on gold but not enough to make the piece look worn out or tired. A great H & Co. piece to add to your collection!
