With this design, I wanted to keep the style of my other pokers. What separates this blow poke(r) apart from others is the steel hook for hanging it. Others either don't have one or expect you to set it down on the ground or lean the mouthpiece up against a surface. This poker, like any other, can be hung normally. This makes the perfect fire-starting tool.HEAVY-DUTY BLOW POKER/Poke: Made out of 5/8" tubing...not like my standard which is made out of 1/2" Tubing. It has a "Cool Touch" wrap handle making it easier to hold and with more stability. I made a Delrin plastic mouthpiece and pressed it into the steel pipe to promote cleanliness. Allowing it to be sterilized. ****Special Note: Unlike my other blow poker, it can move/pry heavy logs. You have to be careful when prying with tubing because it will collapse and bend...so I came up with a more stout blow poker for those BIGGER FIRE PITS...****HEAVY-DUTY TONGS: Blacksmith Made out of 1/2" x 1/2" square steel and 1/2" x 1/4" rectangle steel. It has a wrap handle, making it easier to hold and with more stability.Both implements are about 47" long and are coated with a high temp paint giving it the ability to withstand those large, hot fires. Everything is forged in my blacksmith shop here in Missouri.UPGRADE HANGER POST: This allows you to drive this into the ground about 10-12"...it has 2 hooks and is sturdy enough to hold these giant implements...lol.
