Description: Up for auction is a Haynes Amadeus AF-580SE silver flute in near mint condition. All keys move freely and the pads/corks are in excellent condition. There are no dents present and the minor surface scratches throughout don't affect performance. This open hole flute has a silver plated headjoint and body, an offset G key, a split E key, pointed key cups and a low B footjoint. This flute plays fine now, but may require several minor adjustments after shipping or for personal preference. Included is a gently used Haynes Amadeus leather covered wood shell case, a zippered case cover(with shoulder strap), a wood cleaning rod and a set of flute plugs. In the 1930 Haynes Flute Company catalogue, William Sherman Haynes expressed the wish to make a flute that more people could easily acquire. His wish has finally been granted.
