The token may show some signs of toning due to age. Harvey's Lake Tahoe released $7 silver strikes in 1992 and 1993. They released $10 silver strikes from 1995 - 2007. $40 silver strikes were released in 1994, 1995, 1997 and 2007. There was one $200 strike released in 2007. NOTE: Many of the first silver strikes in circulation (1992/1993) did not have protective plastic capsules. They were added to the hopper just like any other coin or token. Scratches, toning, and fingerprints are very typical of silver strikes from this first generation. About Harvey's Lake Tahoe:The year was 1944. Harvey and Llewellyn Gross built a one-room cabin at Lake Tahoe and opened Harvey's Wagon Wheel Saloon and Gambling Hall. It had three slot machines, two card tables and a lunch counter. Harvey was also meat wholesaler in Sacramento, CA. As tourism grew around Lake Tahoe, Harvey's also grew. In the 1960's, they added the first high-rise tower on the South Shore with 11 stories and 197 rooms. In 1983, Harvey died at the age of 78, the company continued under family management. In 1994, the company went public and began new projects. Today, Harvey's is owned by Vici Properties and is leased back to Caesar's Entertainment. The property is located at 18 US Route 50 in Stateline, Nevada. It features over 700 rooms, 6 restaurants, wedding chapel, pool, convention center, health club, video arcade, and an outdoor concert venue. Fun Fact #1: Harvey's and the Hard Rock Cafe founders joined together and built the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.
