Agencies and studios supply character style guides to their vendors, subcontractors & freelancers. These guides are filled with examples of character illustrations with suggested attitude poses, character turns, expressions, logo/fonts, colors, simple props, backgrounds. & group setups – all to be used in creating the vendor’s ancillary products (toys, books, clothing, school supplies, printed matter & etc…) A style guide provides guidelines for the way the brand must be presented.
