Tyge combines glass, clay and metal to create jewelry and wood boxes and other wooden objects, decorated with ceramic tiles. Tyge first studied ceramics at Pewabic Pottery with instructor James Powel. Later Tyge attended Oakland Community College and worked with Dr. Charles Blosser.
