This Marvelous Damascus knife is the result of hours and hours of forging. Not many custom makers can keep such pattern of layers upon layers flowing all the way to the edge of the blade, which creates a saw-blade effect at microscopic level, allowing the blade to keep cutting while other blades have dulled. The blade of this knife is forged with 1095 (high carbon) and 15N20 (high nickle) steels. The Blade was given excellent heat treatment and the Rockwell hardness of the blade along its edge is 54 and along the spine is 42-45. The 4 mm thick blade has fantastic hand grind. Handle is made of gorgeous looking olive wood & includes a Mosaic pin. It is fastened with brass pins and strong epoxy for life time durability. This sheath is made custom just as this custom knife. It is made of genuine premium quality cow skin leather which fits the knife perfectly. The leather sheath is totally hand tooled and sewn.
