Description: This is a rare piece by legendary Houngan & Artist Edgard Jean Louis. An initiator & spiritual father to many. He was well known for his artwork- painting, sculpture, and of course, these wonderful Drapeau (sequin flags). Although he made many dedication to Ogun- this one is very unique. Edgard, like many, usually depicted the Loa in a Veve (symbolic representation.) In this one, he depicted Ogun as a man working at his forge. This is a unique treasure that was made for me- but it’s time to pass Ogun on to a new owner. It’s “USED” but that means ritualistically. It’s in perfect condition. All care will be taken to ship it to you- as the sacred object it is.
